Administration

The municipal office handles day-to-day administration, records, property taxes, permits, and hall bookings, and supports the Council of the Rural Municipality of Malpeque Bay.

Public Works

Public Works looks after the municipality's roads, ditches, signage, and winter snow clearing, and coordinates waste, recycling, and compost collection.

Emergency Measures Organization

The Emergency Measures Organization (EMO) coordinates the municipality's emergency planning and operates the Emergency Reception Centre at Malpeque Hall.

Fire Protection

Fire protection is provided by the local volunteer fire department, serving the seven communities of Malpeque Bay.

Recreation and Community Halls

This department supports community recreation and the municipality's halls in Malpeque, Sea View, and Spring Valley, which host suppers, meetings, and gatherings year-round.
