When a storm, flood, or extended outage strikes, the Emergency Reception Centre at Malpeque Hall offers backup power, heat, accessible facilities, and a place to charge devices and stay informed. Residents are encouraged to prepare a 72-hour emergency kit. To volunteer with the Emergency Measures Organization, contact the municipal office.
